The arch was fashioned to evoke the disciplines that make for a working ranch: irrigation, breeding, carpentry, being veterinarians, haying, dealing with the county, breaking horses, drought, etc… It was fashioned of interlocking pieces, rising out of the earth, dancing in the air and returning into the land.
